Yeah, we're still stuck in the park. You might as well grab a seat, we could be here awhile. One of the entrances is at the far end if you want to make a dash for it. It's not like I'm saving the best for last or anything approaching that.

In case you're wondering. It didn't look so good as a vertical shot so it was cropped down to this.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

It's an interesting angle and good shot. Must be something really worth looking at across the way. Maybe we'll see that later, right??

Some Bench, Some Where, doesn't quite sound like Some Beach, Some Where Wendell but I think you get the drift.
I can't imagine it not looking good vertical. It would give it more depth I would think. Lots of vacancies. It looks like where the paths converge at the entrance would make an interesting angle with benches everywhere. All in all, a good post.

Hi, Wendell...

So what's the deal? You left at least four people in your shot. Typically your M.O. is to dispose of the bodies. I see a guy sitting on a bench way in the background and a couple of more behind him as well as someone on the sidewalk on the right. What are you...some sort of people lover all of a sudden? When did big bad Wendell grow a heart? Usually the first thing you do is clone the breath out of any people who dare to get into your shot.

I like the posting and the perspective you've presented. Did you go slightly telephoto on this because those benches seem awfully close together? I probably would have cloned out the traffic and added the Wizard of Oz at the end of the Yellow Brick Road or gray paved path as the case may be. I think you took all of these park shots on the same day. Could you have picked a more bland sky or are all the skies in N.S. white?

Well Wendell the cropping looks very nice and what a lovely looking park,I do like the shading and light in this photo and how the grass bank runs down to the right of the shot.Go and give the man on the last bench a hug he looks down in the dumps my friend.Plus you could have cleaned the dog muck up in the middle of the path at the front.Very interesting photo, well done.

Wendell - With all this garden to explore, why stop and sit. Perhaps in a while, with a cold drink, I'll choose a bench in the distance where it looks a bit brighter. Nicely done! Thad
