I have absolutely no idea what type of plant this is. None, I'm trying a blank.

Seeing as we are currently Roger-less at this moment. Normally he would be my go-to guy on all things flower related given his well-known love of all things foofy. I decided to take a chance and post a flower photo regardless if I ever find out what it is.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Skitzo has left the building Wendell. One personality is chasing the other. Heaven forbid they should ever meet.
I know that has nothing to do with this shot so I will stop.

Maybe it is just me but my eyes are drawn to the blurred area as soon as the photo opens. I saved it, flipped it, cooked up some bacon and eggs and it was really good. Before I ate the flower it did look better to me flipped horizontally. Just some thoughts. Belch!

Wendell the leaves look very familiar but I dont recognize the flowers. The background is out of focus but the real meat of the picture, which is the close up of the blooms, are very nice and detailed. Great shot!

It's a hydrangea!

I agree with Tick about the blurred area, methinks if you crop 1/3 on the right than the white flower will become the eyecatcher..just a thought here...

It's a lovely shot :o)

I agree it is definitely a hydrangea and I really like the shot the way it is - the blurred area and negative space really contribute to the composition in this shot IMHO. Really nice one Wendell.

I love the subtle greens and soft lighting! A really tranquil and calming shot!
