Where's the knick-knack gallery when you need one?

If you haven't guessed by now this is a photo of pretty much nothing of any interest. Seriously.

This is more of the "I needed an image to experiment with" type photo. This just happened to be the next image in the queue. Just trying out some of the effects in paintshop pro x4. Somewhere along the line it picked up a red cast in the lighting that wasn't there in the original. I really didn't feel like going back and uncorrecting it. Or at least that's my story. The focus on the other hand is a direct result of manipulation with the program. So if you don't like that then send your protest directly to the manufacturer of said program. All I did was click a few buttons and maybe push a few sliders. I'll will take full responsibility for the bad crop job on the background. I should have moved two steps to the right before snapping the photo.

Well enjoy the photo and your comments welcomed.

They start out at a young age using the phone. It is a girl. Imagine that!! It was probably the red wine bottle glaring off your lens Wendell that caused some of the red cast.
Interesting shot.
Maybe we should get a "too much time on your hands," gallery.
Cool post.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

Is this your first experience with PSP, Wendell. If not, you can concentrate focus by first straitening to the window sill, and use the "Adjust">Depth of Field tool to blur out most everything but the figures. It looks good and accentuates the dolls, while maintaining the wild background shapes and colours.

Hi, Wendell.....

I took the liberty of forwarding the link for this posting to Corel. I just received the following response:

"Corel has launched the latest version of its PaintShop Pro image processing software. PaintShop Pro X4 has been updated in response to user feedback and adds a series of photography-targeted tools including HDR tools, a 'selective focus' processing tool and the ability to add vignetting to images. The speed and accessibility of the product have also been addressed, along with the addition of tools for sending images to social networking sites. Regarding the link that you sent us, Corel assumes no liability for user error. Apparently Mr. Eubeen is unfamiliar with our product or is a talentless hack. Thank you for your inquiry. Best regards, Frank W. Corel, C.E.O."

You call that an explanation?!!!!!!! I call it a cover up if ever there was one:):)Don't you know red when you see it?? And for the cropping, if you were a farmer you wouldn't have that problem:):) Actually a very cool creation Wendell. I like what you have done here. A good experiment and a rather cool looking shot:) 'A' for effort here Wendell and A+ for allowing Roger to comment:):)
