I think you can see why from the evidence present in the photo. I can never seem to get the colours right. I personally blame the tinted glasses. Maybe someday I'll turn them into lost & found so the rightful owner can reclaim them. But they do put a beautiful spin on the world.
Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I know I'm not supposed to laugh, but I find this shot to be even funnier than your narrative. I'm sure this was a beautiful sunrise/sunset, but you seem to have purposely sabotaged the shot. Maybe you could try getting on your roof or an extension ladder to clear a few of those power lines. If I see clouds, I sometimes head up into the hills because my house is surrounded by oaks. If I want to see the sky I have to look almost straight up. Some of us don't have the luxury of stepping out the back door and seeing Alaska. If these are true colors, you missed an excellent opportunity. Also you might try downloading a free plug-in that I use. A single click removes all power poles and power lines and leaves no evidence of cloning. Another option is that setting on my camera that I told you about before. It's one click counterclockwise from macro and is called "perfect".

P.S. I just saw "Half Baked" in the featured images. Between the two of us, I think we're responsible for 90% of the crappy (am I allowed to say crappy? I meant to say crappie like the fish) shots in the featured images.
