...or at least that's what I understood what the tree on the right was exclaiming to its friend on the left. But then again I don't speak fluent Tree and could be barking up the wrong tree.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Oh my goodness Wendell, your funny, love the story. Actually it does look like they are chatting to each other. Marvelous shot and love the stormy looking sky and all the textures

I tried to talk to them but they asked me to leave them along Wendell. They said I had to make an appointment and be sure to log in. Being the eager beaver I am, I agreed. Now they want me to check into their family, dare I say it, tree.
They do appear to be arguing back and forth.
Interesting to say the least.

Honestly I can't figure out who is the bigger punster, you or TicK. Wow, the boss just asked you to prune the orchard, and look what you've done. At least you got a few cords of firewood out of the deal.

I thought at first I saw some noise, but then I remembered that saying, "If a tree falls in the woods and there's no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Therefor there can't be any noise, right?

Now that the pruning is done, I expect that you'll get a bumper crop of almonds next season.

This shot screams "barren wasteland". Actually it doesn't scream anything since there's nobody there to hear the tree falling. Interesting shot. Certain to make the perm. gallery along with this and this.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Very bleak looking. Seems such a shame that these trees have been chopped down. It has a very lonely and desolate look about it.

It looks like the trees with there branches are pointing to the lift. That the way the robbers went my friend. They surely were stripped of all the green splendor.Love the dark sky in this shot and very nice composition and focus too.Looking again the angle you took the shot from is great my friend.

I can't possibly remember all your work, Wendell, but for me, this is a very fine art piece. And has nothing to do with the commentary:-).
It does need minimal touches of Sharpen, Noise Reduction, and maybe a bit of contrast, but don't lose any sky/cloud detail in the process.
The simplicity and choice of camera angle are ideal. Well done.
