It was just one of those days. I seemingly wandered in a daze on what appears to be a hot summer day. Probably that lack of fluids thing that's going around. In one of those semi-lucid moments I must have snapped this photo. Wish I could remember why. Maybe an electronic breadcrumb trail so I could find my way back.
Another in my long line of experiments that never seem to go anywhere. Maybe I should stop doing that.
Enjoy and your comments welcomed.
I'm only about a million comments behind; so I thought I'd start at the top of the list and move back in time with my comments. I haven't posted anything in three days or more; so you should be happy about that and should provide at least two paragraphs of intense commentary and critiquing when I get around to posting another shot.
You're right. You probably post more experimental shots than everybody else on Caedes combined. I don't know what I'm talking about; so take this with a grain (or a large sack) of salt. I like the idea of the shot with the winding pathway disappearing around the bend. To me the depth of field seems too narrow. The areas in the foreground and background seem unfocused as noted in your title. The area on the left is way too dark for the rest of the shot. If dark weighed more than light, my monitor would tip over.
With the areas of soft focus and less than soft focus combined with extreme light and dark, my eyes are all over the shot looking for a subject to land on.
I don't see any noise and the colors look pretty good. So other than the focus and the extreme contrast and lack of a subject, the shot is average.
