This would be the main street in the downtown core. Not to be confused with Main St., which is actually located outside of the town limits. Shot on a late, sunny Sunday afternoon with the street relatively deserted of vehicles and pedestrians.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

It is like a scene out of the Twilight Zone, Wendell. You, standing in the middle of a downtown street, void of any visible life. No people, no pets, no breeze going through the trees. A couple of empty cars, much like the buildings, themselves.

Wendell - I've headed to the alehouse - see you there. I read that Margolians is closing, going out of business. Some interesting post-photo processing for this photo - making a nice effect. Thad

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I too like the post work on this - this technique works especially well with a street scene.

Nice that you waited till the street was fairly empty, wonderful angle. I'd like to meander up and down this street. You make it look very welcoming.

A moment in a time long past. I thought a graduated darker sky would look good, but it lost some of it's starkness, and is fine as is.
Certainly one of your best, Wendell.
