Then is a multi-panel mural on the side of one of the buildings last seen in Now. Go check if you don't believe me, I'll wait. Now was an attempt to capture the same scene shown in Then (see thumbnail above). Though I didn't have to stand in the middle of a busy street avoiding vehicles to take the photograph. Then is an artist's rendition of what the street looked like back in 1935. Things are the same but different as the saying goes. I'm not exactly sure what Barney Fife is doing in the painting, but there he is plain as day if you care to find him. There are another 3 or 4 similar murals hanging about town. Surprisingly they've escaped the attention of all the taggers and graffiti artists out there. I guess the little buggers are too lazy to work off step ladders to reach them.
Outside of having to join the bricklayers union, I can't recall doing much else to this photo. I left the lines in where the panels meet even though they do somewhat mar the photo experience.
