Try to contain your enthusiasm folks, I know I am. I have it on good word that none other than Lord Aberdeen is dropping by for a visit. Swooning will be permitted in the designated areas, but you will be responsible for any cleaning bills should you succumb to gravity and fall in the muddy street. Your Sunday-go-to-Meeting best attire would also seem to be in order as well. In the meantime we would ask that you perhaps tidy up around the home and business. Certain undesirable elements, myself included, have been asked to make ourselves unavailable to his Lordship in an effort to keep the streets clean. Tea and a luncheon will be served afterwards. BYOC (Bring Your Own Cup...and maybe a teabag and a biscuit while you're at it)

Another mural looking back through time with an artist's interpretation of what things looked like around town back in 1894-ish. This painting is a little more weather beaten than the previous offering, so ignore the peeling paint if you wouldn't mind. I could clean it up if you'd like, but it is going to cost extra.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Wendell - The history teacher (now retired) in me likes this series - peeling paint and all. Having been to Truro, it is even more so. Thad

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine The Earth without art is just 'eh'.
