Wherever "Here" is that is to say.

The editing for this one involved a lot of changes in the lighting, and I'm still not convinced I got it any where's near correct. Then there was the inevitable cropping which I never get right either, left for that matter. So feel free to add a bit of roadside to the foreground, with a slight amount of grass and the odd boulder or two (boulders should be on the smallish size, probably would be better described as largish rocks) and last but not least the all important manhole cover over on the left, and make it all slightly out of focus. I know the manhole cover tied the whole scene together, but something had to go.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I have nothing to add to a shot well taken and edited Wendell. You and your father make a good team.

It reminds me of Lake Louise, just West of Banff. However, Lake Louise is quite a brilliant Turquoise, though I never saw it with that kind of overcast.
It's right on the edge of the road, directly in front of the Canadian Pacific hotel. The lens may not have been wide enough, as there's a fairly high mountain on the immediate left.

I agree with TicK, Wendell. Since you are a homebody and never travel any further than a day's horseback ride from your home and your parents travel the world, you should just spend your lonely evenings editing his shots. Why waste the gasoline and go on your own vacation when you can live vicariously through your father's camera.

A beauty of a shot. I can find no fault with your editing. Would love to see the original.

Wendell - While the manhole cover would have been a nice element of this image, I'm enjoying the view anyway! Good work on an old photo. Thad
