This one's a beauty, Wendell. I think I'm drawn to the simple beauty of the shot. There aren't any faked birds or phoney skies or a full moon amongst the trees. I would be surprised if you told me that you had spent hours on post photo work.
The shot is simply a beautiful shot of a spectacular shoreline view. The area looks remarkably remote, and I would guess that it's sparsely populated. I'm not sure why because I'd love to be able to look out my window and see this scene every day.
Quite impressive having the foreground trees and the distant hills all in focus. I know that the ocean mist plays havoc with those distant hills and turns them blue. Must have something to do with the UV haze from the mist doing something to the color spectrum.
This beauty is a solid 8.275. How far is this from your house?
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Wow Wendell another outstanding looking photo and great depth of field and detail.Love the sky and the deep colours in the sea it set off the sky very nicely.10.10
