A road, and I use the term loosely, in the proverbial middle of nowhere. It's lost somewhere in all those wildflowers and goes who knows where because my journey ended here. I could blather on but I'll let these two gentlemen, Robert and George argue the finer points of following such roads and leave it up to you to decide whether to continue on.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Cool scene through there. You can tell it's been traveled by SOMEONE. You should go. Leave the camera behind, bring a compass instead... or better yet, use the sun and the wind to guide you.

You have made it blurry in my mind as to which road I did choose so long ago Wendell. I do vaguely recall a wildflower or two along the way.
You gave us good company as we reflected.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

Nice natural framing by the two sentinel pines protecting the vista ahead.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Sounds like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you have a nice photo of your nowhere road.

I like the multiple layers here of sky and distant hills and closer trees and then up front. Perhaps the road is inside of us...not out there. Enjoyed this image. Faved.

It's makes me happy to know that I'm not the only loon on Caedes that takes shots like this in the middle of nowhere. Wendell, I can't tell you how many time I've started on a road that became a trail that became a deer trail that became the middle of a field filled with plant varieties not nearly as beautiful as these yellow flowers. Depending o how much of your walk was uphill and over rough terrain, only you know if this beautiful shot was worth the effort. The foreground focus is soft, but I like the implied flowers and the rest of the shot.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
