Another not-quite-ready for prime time photo. Being a slight bunch un-focused amongst other things. So a few splashes of digital paint later and you're now looking at this. Unless, like me you get easily distracted, then you could pretty much be looking at anything. Me, I've been watching this ladybug crawling up the wall for the past half-hour while making kamikaze attacks on the lamp light every now and again. While simultaneously trying to get a photograph of it and replying to comments on FB and uploading this photo and watching a few programs on the TV and ignoring the ringing telephone. I'm sure if it was important they'd come pounding on the door. All of which have absolutely nothing to do with the flower photo and why it is weeping.

Enjoy or at least fake having some fun and your comments welcomed.

Holy smokes, Wendell. You're really enjoying that Vincent Van Gogh software way too much. Actually I'd be interested once again in seeing the original. The color of the flower is beautiful and the greens in the background are perfect. I have a feeling that your narrative is closer to the truth than you'd like to admit. THEY have determined that most people really cannot really multi-task efficiently. I might suggest that you concentrate on the ladybug and let everything else slide. That is except for the telephone. It's 4000 miles from here to there, and it doesn't help when you don't take my calls. Dorothy wants to jump on our newly spray painted fluorescent orange bicycle and ride to Nova Scotia. As soon as we figure who's gonna ride on the handle bars and who's gonna pedal, we'll be off.

Roger

P.S. I think the unedited shot would be a keeper. Happy to hear that your glasses aren't sliding off. Best to keep both ears.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

I really like this regardless of your negative remarks. I think it would benefit by cropping the top 2/3rds of the way to the petals, but the lighting is soft, shadowless and even throughout. Both backgrounds are perfectly complimentary. I guess it's sort of comforting and attractive at the same time.

I took the Gamma Ray gun I got from Photofiltre and shot it just once and the flower came to life.
The effect works great on this unsuspecting little gem that was just minding its own business until you came along Wendell.
Glad you did.

Love morning glories and the color on this is perfect and I think the effect served you well no matter how it happened.
