Don't mind me folks. I'm just beefing up my architecture portfolio here with this shot. It seems I have been neglecting that gallery.

A photo shot from one of the older sections of town. The plaque on the wall of the house indicates this is a heritage property. Which basically means you get a whole new level of paperwork to fill out should you decide you want to do any exterior renovations to your house. Meanwhile your neighbour could slap up a concrete bunker monstrosity because he wisely chose not to get the wall adornment for his equally as old home.

Note: I do not now nor have I ever lived here. I live nowhere near here. Unless we're talking cosmologically, then I'm practically neighbours with this fellow. And if he doesn't stop having those loud parties during the week I'm going to be contacting the local constabulary.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Excellent narrative, great composition with wonderful balance, good but not exceptional colors (since you basically have just varying shades of green and a touch of pink), very good contrast and depth. I don't care for the white sky although you did a good job with not burning out any leaves.

What does the "111" stand for? Is that how old it is or the year it was built? I know what you mean about those loud parties. I can hear that jerk from here on Saturday nights. I like "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" as much as the next guy, but playing it 35 times in a row is a bit much. I almost wish they would play "Afternoon Delight" or "In the Year 2525" around #28 and I HATE those songs.

Gotta love the address. I used to deliver newspapers to a home just like this. The old lady never paid me but I generally took a railing for lunch.
It is well kempt which is more then I am.
Excellent shot Wendell.

Enjoyed this shot. Nice looking yard and house front. Looks like a good neighborhood, cosmologically speaking.

Very good architecture addition for your file - I don't specifically know the style of this but I like it and your shot is nicely done in all aspects.

Wendell - I like how you captured the old home in its surroundings - nestled among the large old trees. They add to the historical charm of the house. Thad
