Not cropped, just tightly shot. I'm pretty sure I was highly bored the night I shot this. I really need to get a hobby.
Enjoy the handle but hands off the spout is all I ask.

Very original idea, Wendell. Reminds me of one of those 1950's monster movies where the aliens shadow made more impact on the psyche than the alien itself. Credos for having the guts to post the teapot. If I owned something like that, I wouldn't advertise it. The lighting on the wall to the right of the shadow is somewhat distracting. Good luck in the contest.

Very interesting shot. The subject matter is great and the color tones and contrast are excellent. Cool manipulation.

Your image is a good reminder that there is much more content in our shadow than in our ego, even though we are mostly unaware that the shadow even exists. I believe Jung commented that there is gold in our shadow, but I don't see that here, although there is an almost golden aura around it. I like the teapot. Good concept.
