I met this pensive fellow strolling through the park lost in his thoughts. With his hands clasped together I figured he was pondering something deep and profound and chose to leave him to his musings. It wasn't until later that the thought entered my head that perhaps he could have been an escaped convict in handcuffs trying to blend in with the crowd by assuming a nonchalant manner of a philosopher. Tricky bunch them philosophers.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

It's a very good piece of work, Wendell, and even better with a minor bit of cloning.
Although it's natural growth on the tree that appears to come out of his body, just take a minute and clone branch growth (cover up all the bare areaof the trunk) directly above your subject.
You'll see a significant difference.

Very interesting point made by Doug. I will remember that for my nature shots too.

Wendell, I liked the composition and your narrative. I sense that he may be more the philospher than the criminal. But, it is probably wise not to provoke him! lol.

Escapee no doubt - they always flock to nature areas!! very nice stroll shot Wendell - I see Doug's point but it didn't distract too much.

You should have tackled him on the spot. Then you would be famous, at least for an hour or so. Not that you aren't famous already.

Very peaceful scene. He did well at hiding the handcuffs indeed.
