Trying my hand at some celestial rearrangement. Hope I haven't messed the tides up too much with my mucking about.

I took the moon that appeared in the southern sky on this particular night and moved it over to the northern sky that was more open and agreeable. The darn trees kept getting in the way down south. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

It looks right at home in the sky Wendell. I would be disappointed and a little frightful if it didn't.
There will be a lot of howling on Caedes tonight.
Looks good.

I guess you haven't been listening to the news, Wendell. Half of Morro Bay and much of the coastal zone along the Central Coast is under water. The governor had declared a state of emergency and the people on the coast are being evacuated to the Inland Empire because of record breaking high tides. Nobody can explain what in the world is happening. The doomsday crowd is marching downtown with signs that say, "The End Is Near" and are chanting about the Apocalypse. I heard a bunch of sawing and hammering and went next door to see the heck was going on. My next door neighbor is constructing an ark.

That must be a very nice telephoto lens you have there. Nice shot of the moon. The dark fir tree makes for an interesting silhouette and the sky looks troubled. I can almost taste the green cheese.

I think you're doing really well with that God complex, Wendell.
Have you given any consideration to relocating FAULT LINES ? :-)

Really quite beautiful.

Wendel;...it would be nice if we Brits could 'see' the moon!...

The way our weather has been..it may be another 3 weeks!!!

Good moody capture here...and...peaceful too

Very interesting way around a less co-operative sky - just move the moon! Well done - can you change the weather too?

We mess up the earth, including the tides, all because it seemed like a good idea at the time. That's people, isn't it. Interesting image.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Ooooh... Beautiful. The result is very harmonious in terms of color and lighting. Just one thing: I'd blend the edges of the moon just a little bit - so that they look natural. Otherwise I love it!
