Some bluejays reaction to a squinoceros taking over the feeder. They were so stunned all the colour drained from them momentarily. It took a while for indignation and outrage to set in. But one must suffer the presence of the squinocereos.

Lacking the opportunity to get three bluejays to pose together I was forced to take measures into my own hands. So two of these jays are cheap copies of the real one.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell, this is excellent! I not only enjoyed the narrative, but the editing is superb! I think if I saw a squinoceros I would be freaked out, hopefully not enough to get a picture first. Lol!

Wendell I do like this photo and the detail is stunning in these birds but I would also love to see this in colour. Not saying that B&W is bad but I no these birds are very colourful.Plus it great how you have three in this shot too.

Great shot and narrative. I would also like to see this in color but I also would like to see this in the B&W challenge .

What a great shot - and a splendid narrative as well.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
