A photo of someone out walking their dog. Another in a long line of anonymous strangers we meet in life's journey. It would be a lot easier if everyone wore name tags or had rfid tags; or if we all lived in small towns with populations of 302; or if there really was a bar where everybody knew your name; or maybe if we all had the same name. He may well have been wearing a name tag but his back was to me so he remains in the 'I have no idea who this is' category. Come to think of it I didn't recognize the dog either. And I have been chased by a good number of them in this town.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

This is really nice, Wendell. Tremendous power in the tree rails leading into the subjects, yet balanced by the two large trees up the hill. Well done.

Such a rugged and beautiful place. This is a great shot Wendell with wonderful lighting and depth due to those gorgeous, tall pines. I really enjoy your narratives too. I've noticed that you are not at a loss for words tonight. lol!

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Well Wendell you have great death of field in this photo and very good perspective too and I do like the green trees that meet you at the end of the path way too.I also like how you have the embankment on the left and the fence on the right it leads you eyes down the path way.Little dark but that to be expected in a forest lol.

I recognize the park and I recognize the path. I also recognize the man and his dog. You had the wrong setting on your camera and shot yourself in another dimension in another lifetime. Just look at the hat. Now do you recognize yourself?

The composition is perfect, Wendell. It's a well balanced shot with fine lighting and good detail. Nothing to complain about on this one.
