So I was getting ready to host my first tea party of the season the other day. I had invited over all my imaginary friends; except for Rupert who I haven't talked to since he questioned my existence. Well imagine my embarrassment when I couldn't find a proper tea kettle anywhere in the house. Needless to say the party soon broke up as we had nothing to dunk our biscuits in. It wasn't until several hours later that I finally figured out where all the kettles had disappeared to. But the damage has already been done to my reputation. I fear I will be in for the lonely summer of a social outcast.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell...This is one of your best narratives in awhile as far as I'm concerned for whatever that is worth. I really do hope that you store this stuff somewhere. If nothing else, your PM's always end with a suggestion which always makes me laugh. I can see a publisher going for a book of your one liners. You'd make a heck of a blogger too.

As for today's photo, I hope for Rupert's sake that this wasn't taken at your home. From what I understand you are employed as some sort of a lumberjack. Maybe this song is somehow applicable.

Nice colors although they look oversaturated (as if anyone could really tell) because the tree bark looks slightly blue. This would do well in the new contest. A solid 5.5 out of 10.

Oh that kind of pot!! Never mind what I first thought - this is a very clever shot and a great narrative to accompany it.
