This is a small part of a very long mural painted on the wall of a strip mall in town. This particular section is next to the train station and depicts soldiers being shipped off to war.
A host of memories of that Truro station, Wendell. I arrived by train from Montreal, early 1952. Spent a year at R.C.A.F. Debert. Then back to Montreal to catch an Air Transport to England. Thanks for the memories :-).
This reminds me in a way of the series of WWI posted by our most respected and honoured UK agents, OB1 and Richie [whose nick invented by the undersigned is far too long and must be changed:)]. The painter chose perfect location next to train station too. Thanks, dear Wendell, and please think about joining SOS unless I have asked you already before:) Yours sneezing like hell SAM and SAAB
