This is one of those I wish I had been there earlier and really paying attention to what I was doing shots. Because then I would have composed it differently to capture the light in the right position. But I was there when I was there and not earlier because I was dawdling further down the creek before moseying up the trail to see what I could see. So maybe someday I'll return and be there when I'm supposed to be there. Just have to remember to set my watch to the correct time I guess.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I think you've captured a wonderful mood with the light that you found, Wendell. The combination of darkness and light really make the viewer study the image for what it is. Bravo.

This has a sort of Twilight Zone feel to it. Very mysterious. I love the way that the railings on each side of the bridge lead towards the gazebo. The lighting is excellent. Well done, Wendell.

You are what you are until you're not Wendell.
I think you did well with the lighting while you were there.

This is a splendid shot Wendell!!! You did great work on this one - love the moodiness of this image. That patch of light on the bridge highlights the capture. Well done!!!

This is not the first time I've taken note of your dawdling and absentmindedness (I seem to recall you misplaced your watch one time?)but these tendencies are producing some wonderful works of art so I wouldn't change a thing...a charming composition with just the right lighting IMO...and as Sandi mentioned, it would make a welcome entry to the b/w challenge.
