Who knew the collective noun for a mouse was click? This would be my collection of computer mice. And you're probably wondering: why so many? Of course the short answer is: why not? The long answer is: one is for the desktop computer; a second is for the laptop, I'm not a big fan of the touchpad; a third is for a completely different laptop that may be seeking a new home but in the meantime it comes in handy for messing around with different operating systems; a fourth is simply for a backup mouse should one of the others meet a premature end. Five through seven were just old mice that were laying around and forgotten about. I'm not even sure if they work anymore. I'm pretty sure I wore one of them out, just haven't figured out which one. But the real reason for so many is simply trying to find one that feels comfortable in the hand and meets my needs.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

One big rat and a click of mice.
This is really good with photo and narrative combined Wendell.
I think you and your Alt ego are out of Ctrl.

Mind if I borrow one? Just off to a friend's to help her with her computer and she uses a touchpad. I am useless with touchpad. Will take my own fave mouse for an outing I think :) I have a box of retired mice but can't be bothered testing them. I suspect they are all clicked out.

This really makes a unique image. I like it. The click o' mice looks slightly ominous all ready to attack the monitor. They each appear to have their own individual personality. I can hear then squeaking in anticipation from here. Each saying "Click me, click me !"

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Yes, I also have something like 3 mice at home. One for this PC, the other for another which is laptop and the third spare but wireless which makes it unreliable, or does it really?
Thanks for this orchestra of mice just before starting a clicking concert - the limelights are going up or down :) Because this is definitely the stage where they all are standing and waiting for some conductor to raise his baton.

BTW: have I heard some unfair rumours about you that you don't like to talk much?! Who could have been that misinformed or unfair?! LOL

It seems a few of us have a similar click but you were the clever and creative one putting them to further use in this way and like their real counter-parts gathering together in relative darkness makes for a very pleasing result and image to view as well...well done WAS.

And not one with a 'Tail'!...so they must all have been self sufficient to work with wiffy!..(Wi-Fi)..

I guess I can relate to yours, I must have old ones hid away somewhere!...lol

Love the low angle and the subdued lighting...Different subject idea...but well thought out!

Wendell - And all these mice eat are batteries...? Goose - geese, mouse - mice - isn't the English language filled with logic? Very creative to use the monitor image to light the mice - well done.

Most of my collection has been retired to a box in a closet....that's so they don't accidentally get into the d-CON I have sitting around. LOL. This is a pretty creative and artistic shot you have here, Wendell. Very well done.

It sounds as though between us, we have more mice than a science lab. Maybe it is time to let the cat out to take care of all of these little critters. Clever shot Wendell.

Looks so futuristic Wendell - like some vehicles we could be driving in the future, or rather vehicles that are fully autonomous, or perhaps pods to live in!!! Love this shot - very nice composition and great lighting and very creative!!! Excellent!!!

Your problem is called being a collector
Maniac and you can get medication for it these day but tell that time comes I must say you are getting great therapy turning them in to stunning moden style art work. The light snd shine in this post is amazing and the way you laid them out is so cleaver .Plus I like the reflection of light that is bouncing of them too.
