I can explain the holes in the petals. I was feeling a little peckish while out taking some photos and had a little nibble to tide me over seeing as no free range hamburgers were wandering by at the moment.

A wild rose, I think? If you keep eating these, you may find yourself as healthy as a horse! lol I wonder when horses became the standard of health. Anyway, this is a very lovely shot.

Nice use of the rule of thirds here. Connie's post made me think of the time my girlfriend and I had some "wild lettuce" from the community garden. It really was lettuce, but it had mild narcotic properties and later while eating a salad we made, we happened to look at each other and laughed uncontrollably for about 5 minutes, then back to normal. :)

Made good good use of negative space to highlight your subject. As well as.. and I seem to be repeating the following as of late.. the diagonal created within frame.
Colours are natural and exposure is good good.
Nice shot.
