Those are very stormy seas on a rocky coast. Is that some sort of warning light at left? Very good composition, Hannie.

I have no idea what that configuration on the left is, but the rest of the upload is full of action and it certainly looks as if there's a storm about to break...either that or there's a heck of a lot of humid air blowing around. I find this view riveting :)

can hear the thunder of the waves as they crash against the rocks, and can feel the spray of the water against my face...

Nice shot, Hannie...the overcast day gives it a rather somber feeling.

Nice shot, Hannie. I love when the ocean turns all grey and silver and foamy like that.

I assume this is some type of memorial? Perhaps to sailors who lost their ships on the rocks? Neat shot! C):-)

Hannie, think that 'Kidder' could be right. Dutch seamen would say: 'een bonkerig zeetje'. Hope you'll understand this saying, as the South African language has a lot of similarities with the Dutch language. Great capture! Regards, Cornelius

Looks like those waves are breaking fast! What a great sea shot! It looks misty too, like it is overcast.

Great work Hannie ! what a awesome sight this is ! i just love that incoming splashing water, it looks stormy to me !
I do like the sea at its best in windy conditions, and that shows clearly here.
Only 1 negative to point though :-( There is very little information to this image.
Like where was it shot exactly, and what is the cross on the left ? Pleas fill us in :-)
And thanks for the lovely shot.
