Not confused. (At least I would think so despite what others may perceive). Have seen these stacks before in other images, but never for real. I like the way you captured the bands of color in that warm colored sky and the smoke from the stack. Would prefer to see more solar panels, but this is how they do it for now. Western Mass Electric has a place with acres of solar panels. I love that and the windmills, none of which pollute.
You have confused me, just like IUPUI...Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis! LOL. This has a familiar look, since I live only about 12 miles from the Davis-Besse Nuclear Plant on lake Erie. I don't know, but these cooling towers always intimidate me. It must be the thought of what could happen. Nice shot, Dan.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I have so many ideas and statements to make on this subject that I rather refrain from making any since I must retire to bedroom where my Boris would not go to sleep without me... LOL During the day there is no problem - I hear him snoring all days, but as the night comes, he keeps on waiting till I switch off the light. And then he comes and goes - average 20 times within 8 hours - poor cutie once he feels too warm and then he needs some warm cover over him. Needless to say I wake every time he comes/goes.
This is my entire opinion in terms of the environment protection and the global warming - for the time being LOL
