Morning mist with a bright sky and a splash of tone to make it look like your grandfather's pier. Taken this morning at 9am

Nice shot Dan, I like the tone. We don't get to see many of these older wooden docks around here anymore, they have so much character. The dock also makes a great division between the mist and the water.

Hey Dan. This is very cool but, are you sure it was 9:00am? This looks like a 8:55 or maybe a 9:05 shot:):) Either way I do like the feel to this with the coloring and misty look besides, you gotta love a dock that supports plant life for sure:):):)

Nope, neither of my grandpa's had a pier. I like the tonation on this and the extreme contrasts of light and dark, which I would probably have tried to lighten/darken and turn into a less enjoyable shot.

Another excellent shot. The tones and the mist add some drama to the scene. Very nice.

A Crab crawling along the Dock would be a nice Touch at 9 AM.

A Bikini Babe would be even better. Just Food for thought.

I see a Re Shoot coming.

It don't look like my grandfather's pier at all! That's a cause he never had one! He had a greenhouse though! LOL. Cool looking shot and excellent post work, Dan.

Dan - Neither of my grandfathers owned a pier, but both fished off of some similar to this. THe toning does give it an antique look. Thad
