This wood is too pretty to be burned. Still it is stacked and waiting for the first of the cool weather. This is in an outdoor kitchen and the exposed ends of the logs were wet with rain water... just enough to accent the rich tones.

I agree, the color is stunning. My woodpile looks nothing like that. Where are all the bugs and crawly things and the dirt? Very nice work Dan.

Nothing looks Better than wood! I like the Golden red hues... Very symmetrical and the Cracks add Character!!
