This brings back many memories. My first tennis racquet was given to me when I was about 11 or 12 by an old lady who had no further use for it - it was a Slazenger and I thought I was so lucky. It had a press just like the one in your photo.I never became a famous player lol. The racquets of today are so different.I doubt anyone would want to play with the heavy items of the past.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Oh my, I use to play with a old Wilson Racket like that one and even used the wooden frame, lol. Super find and such a Cool posting, thanks for bring back memories.
You take really intersting photos Bro; and, this one is no exception. Definitely thought provoking and I'm so happy for the frame; warping can be challenging....unless of course you are 'in warp' then you are just moving really, really, fast.
I remember playing with one that was warped so I never knew where the ball was going to go and it was so darned heavy. Maybe I needed one of those frames. Neat capture.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
