Love all the textures here, the many grains in the wood and the way the saw cut through the boards. Great composition too.

Textures rule in this one Lt. Dan. If I had a hammer, I would..............never mind.

You know a tool like that can never outlive its usefulness. I really like the russet tones of this comp.

Fabulous textures Dan-o! When I saw your title, I thought maybe you had started moonlighting as one of the paparazzi and had snapped a shot of MC Hammer! Great work my friend.

That looks like my old sledge hammer from the farm! Drove many a fence post with it too in my younger days. Fine work here and of course had to fave it too!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I used a sledge hammer like that to break up a patio back in the 90's. I haven't touched one since. Don't plan to neither!

Awesome textures and tones Dan, a 12# sledge should do the job nicely! You might want to swell that handle a bit first.
