A good view of my hometown from across the Mississippi river. That late afternoon light was too tempting to pass up. This is a wide angle view and includes most of the city, but not all. It's a small city compared to many others.

A beautiful capture, with the barge making its way. Very impressive.

I love this , but you knew I would.
What a beautiful shot of a gorgeous city.
Love the lighting and the tug and the barges on the mighty Mississippi. Anyone who hasn't visited this city ... needs to .

The vignette works to make us think we are peeking in on the city. So that's Baton Rouge? Nice to see not too many high rises here.

Good shot of your city Lt. Dan. The vignetting won't catch any fish, but it will attract some photographers. There is a difference. I think!

I really like this cityscape, very good lighting, and the barge is the perfect compliment to this one. I have never been to your home state, maybe one day. Tigs♥ =^..^=

While I’m not a fan of city scapes I must say I do like the composition and the warm light on the buildings,
like Adam said the street lights give this a little something extra.
Very nicely done Dan.
