An interesting charcoal/pencil creation measuring about 4'x 5'. Very large and old piece of art hanging on the wall with a worn spot on the lip revealing a red wall and looking very much like blood.
Wow ,what a great , powerful and thought provoking image. I love the lines of life on his face and the wisdom yet sadness in his eyes. Interesting how the red wall comes through and appears to be blood. It reminds me of a drawing in a book I have about the Trail Of Death . I love this ... excellent work !
Dan, for me this is one of your best finds.Added to my faves, this is so thought provoking. The way we dishonored the American Indian has always touched my heart. Tigs♥ =^..^=
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
The drawing, itself, was done expertly and I would love to see additional pieces by him/her. Your capture was also excellent. If the red spot had no special meanings to you, I think I would have clone it out. If it does have a meaning, then of course leave it in.
