What I'm going to say is critique and I mean it in a way to help improve your photography skills, not to be cruel or undermine them.

Honestly, I think this is an ameteur shot. No interesting angles or imaginative bordering and the colors are boring. A nice picture but really it's a shot anyone with a camera could point and shoot. If you have any photo enhancing software, I would suggest upping the contrast and levels, and playing with the saturation a little. A little touch up and change of perspective could go a long way and change a snapshot into an amazing peice of art. (If you don't have any imagaing software, if you have a white balance adjustment option on your camera, I would suggest messing with that until you can get better color results).

Again, none of this is meant to personally attack, simply to challenge you to try and take shots in a different way. Keep it up :)

While I agree that the color could use a little "pumping" up, I also think that it has a lot of good points. The clarity and detail are good. The composition is well thought out with the lovely foliage and flowers in the foreground. The perspective in the angle that the falls was shot from adds interest to the scene.
And you did score a 70 - that's a lot higher than most pictures get!

my first impression was a good one....however, i do see two things i'd like to see different.
the first is the contrast, as digital angel pointed out. the other has to do with composition. the wildflowers and weeds do frame the shot nicely..but they crowd the focal point. i dont know it you were kneeling or crouching, but a slightly higher position would lower them in the frame, and let them do their job more...subtly :o) thanks for sharing this with us.

lately, i've fallen horribly behind in my thanks and comments. I'll catch up, but until I do, please know all your kind words are greatly appreciated.
