While gone last weekend in Tahoe we went to Virginia City and came upon this old relic and so naturally I had to 'copy' it here for all of you!! Trying my hand at some HDR effects so bare with me as I learn the process. This is the only angle I could get a shot from or else I would have not included the table in the bg:):) Hope you enjoy.

It was a calmer world when these were used more BB. A good use of the FDR and it really brings out the detail. Rust and all.

I think the next delivery may be a little bit late in arriving. Great relic hunting expedition, I hope you survived no lighter in the pocketbook than when you arrived. A wonderful and interesting shot Bruce. Nice textures in the brickwork and lighting on your scene. I would like to have seen more of the urn in the frame, though you seem to have a light problem the more you move to the left. Great job and thanks for sharing. ~Wendell

I'm just about old enough to remember when the newspaper boys used to ride bikes like these. Nowadays, of course, they've all got 24-gear mountain bikes and deliver the papers to the wrong houses. I love the HDR effects on this. Pity I couldn't HDR a few newspaper boys!
