A few weeks ago we visited the Sunol Regional Wilderness in Fremont, CA and went for a walk along the trail that lead to the place where I took the photo that I recently posted of the tree wrapped around the rock (Trock) and this hill caught my attention and so I snapped a photo and did a little HDR on it and this is what I came up with:):) Hope you enjoy. The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Good capture Bruce. I like the angle you've shot this from. Nice colours and textures in the grasses.

I think this is right at the top of your photo list BB. Your FDR skills worked well on this one. I believe you are hooked.

I'm really enjoying your vantage point and composition, Bruce! As well as the gold shine to the dry grasses, and the sense of movement in the sky! I do think that cropping a bit off the bottom and cloning out all the trees except for the largest one would bring it to a higher level... but that's just MHO and a little thinking out loud (pay no attention to the girl behind the curtain) :P lol Nicely done, Bruce!

I am glad you've taken this. Yesterday I passed by many of fields like this but could not take any shot, glad you've not missed. I like this golden waves of grasses very much and your sky is beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Bruce.
