Near the Woodminster Amphitheater in the hills just east of Oakland,Ca.,lies this stone structure that has no use whatsoever:) I'm sure it did at one point but I have no history to share with you at this time. Hope you can enjoy this despite the 'unhistorical' account:):)

One can easily see that the stone structure was used for something at one time. Maybe it was a place to go to seek refuge ... anyways, gets the mind thinking of what it could have been used for. I like the textured stones with some moss growing on them. Excellent detail / composition, Bruce. Superbly captured.

Very nice, Bruce. I've seen similar monuments in other countries, and generally they had statuary inside.Mostly the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, or St. Christopher.

Well this one get the brain thinking,it as great focus and detail in the stone work.The shot as a Gothic look to it and a feel of time gone by and maybe give a offering to the gods lol.
