Taken at Castle Rock Park at the foot of Mt Diablo not far from our place in Walnut Creek.I cloned out a few things in the back and I had to clone in some of the hillside to even things out. I was pretty happy with the results but still had difficulty with the small areas between the branches in the background but overall not to bad. My main focus of course is the beautiful grass in the front which I hope you enjoy:):) Thanks for your continued comments and support:)

There are some tell-tale signs in the leaves BB but the main emphasis is on the grasses. Nice to see you step out of your fractal shoes and put on some boots.

Don't get any bright ideas and try to mow down the grass! LOL. Very nice shot, Bruce.

Like the for ground Bruce don't know if you work in layers but a easy fix is in a seprate layer select the light parts and just pull down the brightniss but the image as is is nice.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I like Rob's advice on how to handle the situation of the lighting in the scene. Some good work with the cloning, good idea to stop before you drive yourself batty trying to "fix" every last little problem. A lovely scene you've captured and presented, Bruce. The background shading seems flat.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake
