I just back from visiting family in San Diego which is why I didn't comment for a few days. When I got home I had 145 comments to write and decided to give up rather than catch up. Unfortunately I also decided that I was the "normal one" in the family.
You did a remarkable job on the overall presentation of the subject, Bruce. Your use the post photo editing techniques really makes this look like it was shot "back in the day". Great job. In my mind's eye I was toying with the idea of cloning out the brick barbecue and dropping in some additional track, but that would make me almost as insane as my family. Very nice work.
Talk about a waste of corporate resources. I figure the fella working the ore face could scoop it right to the mine head all in one motion. No wonder the shareholders are upset with share prices this quarter. Good post work on this shot, Bruce. Nice contrasts and textures in the photo.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
