Looks like the Business end of a Fumigator... but, I'll be Interested in Learning the True nature of Your subject's "Identity"! Regardless, this is a Fine capture, Bruce! I like the Monochrome and the Focus!

I don't have a clue but i do no it a great capture and love the colour tones in this interesting looking shot.I have been looking now for 10mins still have no clue and my brain hurts lol.
I still have no idea what this is, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you have an inkling of an idea of what it possibly could be. It looks shiny, it's not a shiny new nickel is it? No, it couldn't be, shiny new nickels don't have warning labels or old nickels either come to think of it. So we know it is not a nickel. But it could be nickel plated. That opens up a whole host of things it could be. You might as well get comfortable this might take a while to go through the nickel plated list of possibilities....
A good closeup on the object. Nice details and presentation.
