Last week we had a rare albeit just the edge (no rain) of a storm front pass through the bay area and it produced some fabulous sky's. We don't get these sunsets to often so it was such a treat to be here and witness this show in the sky:) We were downtown Pleasant Hill near the theater and some shops so I was surrounded with buildings and trees so I had to include some of the structures to get the portion's of the sky that were most dramatic. These clouds were all in the south-eastern part of the sky from my point of view-none of my shots are looking West as you would usually find in such dramatic sunsets! .Here's is one of a few I will post this week. A beautiful looking sky and scene Bruce. The trees add perspective and depth to the image. If you really feel the need to remove the building try copy and pasting a section of the foliage over it and then clone around the edges to blend it in with the background. Additional adjustments to the light levels may be needed to make it blend properly. Though in this photo the building is not much of a distraction.
