This picture is hanging on the wall in my bedroom. It was made in Italy but I'm not sure the picture reflects an Italian family or not but I love this picture:) Enjoy if you can:)

Think you're right about being it an Italian picture. Idyllic, romantic, and nostalgic, Bruce.
I've some doubts whether its reflects the real situation in that era, because of the somewhat fairytale content of this picture. For being it a real fairy tale picture, I miss only the bumblebees, butterflies, and elves, Buddy, 😜

When fear comes to me I will stubbornly choose Faith Instead!!!!
I too found your picture very intriguing. Several of the children appear to share the same face thus creating the family look. Bruce, nothing in the picture screams "Russian artist" to me but the composition does. Excluding the maid and the two very young children, it looks like it could have been a painting of Czar Nicolas's children enjoying the day outside on the veranda. I can easily see why you love this picture very much.
