Bruce, I was smiling about Lyn's comment.
I've been told that cats use their whiskers as a kind of sensor. They give the cat an indication whether it can safely crawl through a hole to catch mice, for example.
If you did depict cats, then you did a great job. This doesn't alter the fact that the cats will not feel very comfortable, because there are too many in a small space. Give them space and they'll do their job, Buddy!
