Bruce, I've been to shipyards a number of times during my previous career. But I don't remember that the welders there were equipped with such beautiful welding rods.
So, I cannot go with your suggestion. To me, these are the luxurious version of magic wands.The use of such wands is reserved only for the master wizard, Buddy!
