Bruce, because of its details the previous one (Utah Rock strata I) resembled an abstract painting. This one one gives a better overview of the layers and textures. In fact, this is a barren landscape. Impressive to travel through but not to stay. The beautiful cloudscape enhances the appeal of your photograph, Buddy
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

A very good catch, m'man. I shot a photo of a very similar scene along MN Highway 61, on the north shore of Lake Superior. There was a scenic pull-off there and the occupants of another car that had parked, an older couple, complained about how the trees had grown so high between the pull-off and the lake, that the scenic shoreline was impossible to see. I responded, "Who cares? There's pull-offs all over this place. Look at the great strata across the road!" The husband humphed and they left. Some folks just don't know when they have it good, right, Bruce?
