Bruce, I see in your intriguing render some resemblance with the graphical technique that was used by M.C. Escher.
He depicted some impossibilities. When I look how the bowls are integrated to each other, I see a rather similar 'impossibility'.

You have many 3s and 4s, geometrically speaking, in your artwork. And, I love the diagonal going left to right of the layered bowls.
