Bruce, the composition, colors, the exuded mood, and presentation make it to a great post.
Perfectly done, very worthwhile to be S+F, so I did instantly.
Thanks for sharing, Buddy, 👍 !

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

The dappled sunlight is an added bonus to an already fine photo.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I saw this one earlier when the site was asking for a vote to determine if it was appropriate for Caedes, and my only thought was... are you friggin' kidding me??? It's exceedingly appropriate, and gorgeous, and well focused, and damn well done! I have only two suggestions: one would have been to either have cropped it up just a hair at the bottom, to eliminate the very top edge of what appears to be a pile of old lumber, or to simply rubber stamp the sucker out of there. The other is something I learned chasing a degree in fine art ages ago--when you have an image of massed details, you use a simple frame on it to reduce any visual conflict between the two (the ornate golden gilt frames one would see on old post-Renaissance paintings worked because of the wide fields of solid colors--like black--in the paintings). I'm probably just a purist, too much of a perfectionist, but those are things I always try to look out for when I'm processing a photo. But that's probably just a little bit of O.C.D. on my part. Never mind. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

It's got a great rhythm and I can dance to it, so I give it a 90. Happy Trails.
