A couple friends wanted to see the whole lighthouse over by Datona. Can't really get "back" far enough to get the whole lighthouse in the pict. I didn't have a wide angle lens, so this is about the best shot I could get from the small grounds, but here ya go. It's really a beautifully restored Lighthouse.

And this is a really beautiful perspective image. Like this a lot. Should stick out in the gallery. The total sky backdrop is wonderful from this angle. Nice to be able to look up at this lighthouse without getting a crick in my neck.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
killer perspective and ultra clear. the clouds really give it depth, i don't think it would have had the impact without them. you could do a manip changing the sky to an ominous and dark lightning storm...and having some evil and creepy critters hanging out the window//maybe one crawling up the side, sorry i digress, hehe. really, a very nice shot. dAVE

Greg, this is a terrific capture from a wonderful perspective. The blue sky with the puffs of white sure do give it depth. It's perfectly crystal clear and looks so good full screen. Thanks for sharing this today. Anita

Great perspective and a beauty to boot. A really wide angle lens may have distorted this a bit. I have a 22mm-70mm zoom on my old Pentax. Shooting up gives you all kinds of funny things to think about sometimes.

I love this lighthouse it is one of my favs off the Florida Coast and it has such a ghostly past. You did veryyyy well with this shot considering the height you had to work with. If you got the spiral stair casing Id love to see :)
