The History Channel was filming a segment on Storming the beach at Normandy. There were a bunch of soldiers dressed in Traditional WWII clothing for the video. I caught this inbetween takes, when the Germans were "resting". :-) Now if we had assulted the beach with a first wave like this, it might have been alot easier!! :-) :-)

This is a fabulous picture. Bikinis and WW2 uniforms on the beach is for sure a big contract. The picture is also very well composed. Perfect!

The subject is rare, and the photo is well taken. Nazi uniforms make me nervous, but it's still a fav because the image isn't manipulated. As a point of historial interest Normandy beach never looked anything like this 1, and German uniforms were grey :o) I think u deserved a higher c-index though.

Lifes around said the 35 millimetre cameraman. Tip of the day get ahead, and go widescreen 1440 x 900 / 1200 x 900 don't fit the monitors!!
a chance to get a shot like this doesn't come around very often. the people making the documentary couldn't have outdone you on this!!
