A young man I know, really wants to become a Lineman when he graduates from High School. This is a picture of him one of his friends took up a telegraph pole. I thought it was an Awsome shot!! He asked me to make him a graphic he could have printed on a shirt. This is what I came up with. Thought ya'll might be interested in seein it. Thanks for Lookin.

Do linesman really work when there's a localised lightening going on Gregg ? Either way it's a tough rewarding job, and I imagine they eat a lot of Yorkie bars too.
A neat manipulation. :d

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease. Flossies gallery's here

Excellent job for your friend. I only have one small suggestion, if you haven't already had these made up, and it's not a biggie, but I thought that the words "above" and "rest" might stand out better if they began with a capital letter. Can you tell that in this chest beats a Court Reporter's heart? ..LOL..

Greg, nice post. I know how you feel about the lineman profession and this is proof. Like the silhouette effect. Good job.

Fantastic job on this, Greg! An excellent composition to start. The backlighting putting him in silhouette was a great idea. The colors are perfect too. I know a lineman and he said that there is a shortage of good people to do this. They usually drop out of training right away because it is a rigorous job and you always have to be safety conscious. I wish your friend great success. He seems to know what he wants to do.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

You did a great job for your friend. I hope he never has to climb a pole in a lightning storm, however.

Hey, he just dropped a screwdriver on my head! Ow! ;-)

As a cable splicer, I'm a few feet lower than he is, but can relate, and like the shot alot. thanks for posting it.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
