I've wanted to try this technique for quite awhile. Finally took a picture I wanted to work it with. Your comments and what you "feel" looking at it will be most appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to look.

I like it Greg. It looks so clear and clean compared to some that I've tried. Good manip.

You did a really nice job on this, Gregg. I'm not sure what I feel though.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I feel lucky to be able to see as much color as I can. Interestingly enough, when I had it in the voting booth and gave it a high mark, I didn't notice that you had used this technique, and I do spend a great deal of time on each view, especially if I haven't seen it before. I think that the small view you get in the voting booth is insufficient to truly judge a photo..just my two cents' worth for what it's worth!!

Terrific manipulation. I've attempted this technique in the past and can't imagine how long it took you to get the colour back in the vine. Excellent work.

Great effect, I love this style. This one is particularly well done. I like that you chose red it being such a strong color. It "feels" kind of eerie like a haunted house to me but maybe that comes from watching "The Sixth Sense" one too many times where they only showed red when a ghost was present, lol!
